Capri carries eight. When the day is bigger than that, here are three harbour boats we like.
64 ft
Isola means island in Italian, and that is the pitch: your own private island for the day. She is a 64 ft Riviera Sports Motor Yacht, a 2021 model with a fit-out newer than most of the bigger boats on the harbour and a smooth, quiet ride. Suits groups who want a proper motor yacht with a crew running the day. You deal directly with Isola Charters.
60 ftup to 50 people
Sydneysider is a 60 ft motor yacht that takes up to 50 people. Big open decks made for entertaining: daybeds at the front for the sun, a chef’s barbecue and shade at the back, and two lounge areas below with a large sunroof in the main saloon. Always clean and ship-shape, with a captain and crew who run the day. You deal directly with the Sydneysider team.
Inception was fully renovated in October 2023 and is set up as an event boat: birthdays, corporate functions and promoted nights on the harbour. If you are planning something bigger than eight seats and want a venue-style boat with staff rather than a day-boat you drive, start here. Capacity and pricing are on their site, and you deal directly with Inception Cruises.
Still under eight? Stay with us: self-drive boat hire in Sydney, or a skippered cruise on Capri.
